A family of Mexican-inspired restaurants, commissioned a Día de Muertos–themed illustration to honor their heritage and promote seasonal events.
Drawing from the vibrant symbolism of Día de Muertos, I created a custom sugar skull that integrated the restaurant group’s logos as core visual elements—transforming them into the eyes, nose, and mouth of the skull for a cohesive and culturally resonant design.
The illustration blended traditional motifs with modern brand storytelling and was later transformed into a wood-carved piece used across print, signage, and social campaigns.
It became a bold, memorable centerpiece for the brand’s festive marketing efforts—deeply rooted in both culture and creativity.
