Branding & Web Design

Bright Institute is a continuing education platform that needed more than a site refresh. Their brand and digital presence lacked cohesion, clarity, and modern positioning. The core challenge was to define a bold, ownable identity and translate it into a scalable brand system and responsive web experience that clearly highlighted partners, courses, and calls to action.

Role & Responsibilities

I was the sole designer and developer on this project, responsible for brand strategy, visual identity, UX, responsive web design, and the final build in WordPress using Elementor. I collaborated with the client to refine goals, define success metrics, and iterate on feedback throughout the process.

Discovery & Brand Foundation

Started with stakeholder interviews and brand audits to understand positioning and audience needs. Defined brand pillars that informed the identity and visual system.

Visual Execution & Interaction

Designed responsive layouts in Figma, incorporating UI patterns and subtle motion where it served clarity and engagement. Aligned with accessibility and performance best practices.

Development & Implementation

Built the site on WordPress with Elementor, ensuring seamless transitions from design to high‑fidelity product. Handled responsive breakpoints, reusable components, and clean structure for scalability.

Outcome & Impact

The final site delivered intuitive navigation, clarified access to partner courses, and a refreshed brand system that elevated Bright Institute’s positioning as a leader in professional development. Early feedback, including from the founder, highlighted stronger user clarity and a more confident brand presence both visually and digitally.

"Ana was excellent throughout the project. She went over and beyond the expectation. I enjoyed working with her. She helped me find additional information and resources to support the web design project. I look forward to working with her in the future."
